Cristina Bernardi Shiffman

Menlo Park, California

An artist in multiple media by nature and by education, Cristina Shiffman is a knitter, sewist, potter, and photographer who also draws, paints, and dyes with natural materials. Cristina has been collaborating with MDK since 2017.

Cristina occasionally designs for knitters. Her pattern portfolio includes Mr. Boy, a classic saddle-shoulder pullover, and Blu, miniature jeans that will beat any other present at a baby shower.

Ann and Kay first met Cristina on the internet, when she commented on our blog in its early days and sent in more beautiful squares for the Afghanalong for Afghans than we could believe. You meet the best people on the internet, we find.
