Sarah Ross

Brooklyn, New York

Sarah Ross learned to cook at her mother’s side and to knit on her grandmother’s knee. A restless worker, she mastered black & white photographic printing, cooked in the family restaurant in Greenport, NY, stayed home to raise her 2 kids, and now happily keeps a law firm running smoothly.

Sarah loves falling down the rabbit hole of a beautiful food site and owns an embarrassing number of cookbooks.

She cooks and knits every day–swapping recipes and patterns as she goes, and pondering the big question, “What’s for dinner?” Her series for MDK features the gold star recipes that end up in her beat up accordion file because they are easy, irresistibly delicious, impressive enough for all the VIPs in her life, and have a short ingredient list.

A perfect day is a day at the beach.
