Have you ever wondered what it would be like to go on a retreat? To set aside time to escape your routine and focus on your health, dreams, or hobbies? Finding the right retreat at the right time and getting away to practice yoga or paint landscapes can seem daunting. But guess what? You can create your own thoughtful retreat without stepping foot on a plane.
In this 90-minute workshop, life coach and beloved MDK columnist Max Daniels will guide us in designing and planning our own at-home retreats. You will leave this class with a helpful handout and tips, and well on your way to creating your custom retreat within your own home.
Whether you crave a retreat to recover from a life changing event, try out a new hobby or daily practice, or create a special space and time to wind down with your knitting, Max will show you what you need to begin the journey and make it happen.
OUR WORKSHOP LEADER
Max Daniels is a research-based life coach who focuses on helping people cope with life’s challenges and pursue their dreams. She specializes in an effective method to completely stop bingeing, dieting and overeating. A graduate of Wellesley College, Max received her life coach training and certification from Martha Beck, PhD. Max is a devoted knitter and lover of the finer things in fiber.
