Julia M.

Julia M. started knitting at age eight when her mother taught her how to knit a pair of legwarmers for ballet class.

Coming from professional dance, Julia has always been expressing herself artistically and creatively. Freestyling knit garments is her greatest knitting passion. She has held several knit alongs where she shares her creative vision and hopes to inspire fellow knitters to explore their creativity and find freedom of expression in their craft.

Julia lives in the south of Sweden in an old schoolhouse with her husband and three children. The home is a meeting place for friends and fellow artists where Julia’s passion for growing food, cooking, music and shared creativity come together. She continues to perform as a dancer and works as psychosomatic coach.
