Jessica Caldwell

Brooklyn, New York

Jessica Caldwell is surrounded by knitters. And even though she has attended numerous Sheep and Wool Festivals, with those same fiber friends, she just started knitting in 2023. Since picking up the needles, her creative spirit has been happily working on various projects, with a British murder mystery on the television or a good audiobook on in the background. Jessica has explored other fiber arts as well; learning to crochet from her grandmother and learning loom weaving from YouTube. Both turned out to be excellent teachers.

When not knitting or perusing Ravelry for patterns, Jessica runs her own branding and interior design studio, FOLKE CREATIVE. She is also an interior design professor at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY, and at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan where she gets to teach the next  generation of designers the joys of having a design career.
