Dear Knitter,

Happy Saturday!

Something sparkly is happening next Friday. We’re diving into the shiny, happy world of beaded knitting with the wonderful Jeanette Sloan in a virtual workshop on October 24.

We would love to have you join us. Jeanette’s new Rae Scarf is small, accessible, and superstylish, so it’s going to be big fun.

Read all about it and sign up here.

We’d Love to Say Hi

Are you at the New York Sheep and Wool Festival today or tomorrow by any chance? We’d love to say hi! Here’s where to find us.

Meanwhile…

We had a big time on MDK this week.

We trailed behind Jeni Hankins through American period rooms that were saved from demolition in the 1950s, at the amazing American Museum and Gardens in Bath.

Jeania Ree V. Moore took us to a magical spot at the New York Sheep and Wool Festival that she visits multiple times each year. And no, it’s not the cider donut stand, but good guess!

Time flies when you’re foxy as hell: celebrating ten years of self-care with Max Daniels.

She couldn’t wait for the pattern, so Kay took on test knitting.

From the folks who brought us the fabulous group read of Robert Caro’s famously lengthy book The Power Broker comes a shorter but equally deep dive: The Constitution Breakdown.

Your Support Is Everything—Thank You!

Seriously grateful that you hang out with us at MDK. In person, at virtual talks and workshops, and in our comments section—we love to connect knitters, and connect with knitters.

Questions? Email us anytime at he***@*****************ng.com, and you’ll get a prompt response from a real live MDK person.

Stay healthy, take care of each other, and knit on.

Love,

Ann and Kay

PS Please forward this Snippets to a friend—we appreciate it so much.
