Meanwhile…
We had a big time on MDK this week.
When reclaiming yarn that’s been knitted into a project, Jillian Moreno recommends a wash and set. Her pictures make the case!
Kate Atherley took us on a trip around the world of circular needles.
Accept no copycats: Samantha Brunson brought us a news flash from the real world of a small craft business.
Ann’s first FO from Field Guide No. 29: Mosaic is all about the sublime simplicity of wool, mohair, and silk.
You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll mend: an award-winning animated short.
Your Support Is Everything—Thank You!
At MDK, making knitters happy is all we think about, every single day. If you love what we’re doing, it’s vital—and easy—to support MDK.
One great way, of course: join the MDK Society. And also, whenever you shop with MDK, sign up for a workshop, or share our content with others, you’re directly supporting the yarnmakers, artisans, teachers, and writers that we feature here. Thank you!
Questions? Email us anytime at hello@moderndailyknitting.com, and you’ll get a prompt response from a real live MDK person.
Stay healthy, take care of each other, and knit on.
Love,
Ann and Kay
