You’ve Got Snippets: August 2, 2025

Dear knitter,
Happy Saturday!
By any chance are you in Nashville today? If so, please drop by and say hi at our first-ever bring-your-pup event, today at Nashville’s own Urban Dog Bar from 11-2. All the details are here on the RSVP form.
Ann and Kay will both be there, and we would love to see you—dogs are totally optional (and totally welcome). This event is free and yes—you’ll get a souvenir koozie.
Other huge MDK news:
Kaffe Fassett! (We Can’t Believe It, Either)
When Kaffe Fassett and Brandon Mably want to come to Nashville, that’s a big HECK YEAH from us!
We’re thrilled to host the legendary designer Kaffe Fassett for an in-person lecture and celebration at MDK World Headquarters. Kaffe’s topic: An Eye for Color. He’s one of the all-time great raconteurs, bursting with inspiration to roll up our sleeves and make beautiful things.
On Saturday, October 4, 11:00 am-2:00 pm, Kaffe and Brandon will be in attendance for this party, which includes an inspiring talk, snacks and beverages, meeting and greeting, gazing upon beautiful samples of Kaffe’s designs, shopping, and, of course, time together with fellow knitters.
For those who can’t be with us in Nashville, be with us online! We’re producing a professional livestream of Kaffe’s lecture. We’ll email you the link to the livestream one week before the lecture.
Tickets for the in-person event here.

Afterward, we’ll email everybody a link to the recording of Kaffe’s talk, which will be available to view for 48 hours.
Cecelia Returns!
Cecelia Campochiaro, one of the knitting world’s greatest thinkers and teachers, is coming back to MDK in September for a virtual workshop inspired by her brand-new book on reversible knitting. The project is gorgeous, the optional kit is sumptuous—and flying off the shelves. It’s going to be an adventure! Read all about it and reserve your spot here.

Good morning from Michigan. I do not see the link to the Lorilee August 1 workshop yet and it usually is sent so quickly after the workshop. I was unable to attend live due to scheduling conflict. Am I not looking in the right place ?
Thanks and knit on !
