New This Year

Due to popular demand, festival hours will be extended to full shopping days both Friday and Saturday.

Following the show on Friday, we’re throwing the first-ever NYF Hootenanny to celebrate together. It’ll be a big, music-rich party to let you dance and knit the night away.

There are several different ways to attend Nash Yarn Fest. We’ve set up the events as separate tickets so you can choose your adventure.

The Big Days

Friday, April 17, 11 am-6 pm

Saturday April 18, 10 am-5 pm

Two full days of shopping with 90+ vendors ready to welcome you. We’ll have plenty of seats and tables so you can visit with fellow fiber friends who love to make stuff as much as you do. All day long, the main stage on the show floor will be bustling with live music and other good fun.

Saturday, the main stage will be busy again. Plus: we’ll open the doors to the space next door for talks from superspecial guests throughout the day.

Food and coffee will be available for purchase throughout both days.

One-day tickets are available for Friday or Saturday. Or don’t miss a thing—grab a two-day pass for admission on both days. $25 + tax for a one-day pass, $45 + tax for a two-day pass.

Please note that the Hootenanny is a separate ticket on Friday night, not included in the day passes.

All tickets available here.

NYF Hootenanny

Friday, April 17, 6-8 pm

A new NYF tradition! After the marketplace floor closes on Friday, we’ll open up the space next door for a party for the ages. Our headliner is the bluegrass legend Missy Raines and her band of friends. Expect music, dancing, and a relaxed time hanging out with fellow festival goers.

Includes admission, snacks, and beverages, plus surprises. $75 + tax

All tickets available here.

NYF Getaway

April 16-20, 2026

As a Getaway Traveler you’ll receive VIP treatment, including a stay at the airy Fairlane Hotel downtown, private transportation around town, tickets to all festival events (two full days!), early entry to Nash Yarn Fest, a show at the iconic Grand Ole Opry, a special gift, and numerous optional adventures.

A Hotel for Knitters

For those coming on your own or with friends, we’ve been working with The Gilmore. External Link. Opens in new window., a supercute, brand-new boutique hotel in 12 South. We have taken the unprecedented step of reserving the entire hotel for Nash Yarn Fest.

We are doing this because a) we think a hotel for knitters is what the world needs; b) we’ve negotiated a great rate with them for you; and c) 12 South is a great neighborhood to hang out in.

Reserving this entire hotel of 100 rooms required significant financial investment on our part—and we’re not making a dime on it. We’re making this bet in the interest of giving you an amazing experience at Nash Yarn Fest.

So if you’re game, click here for the special reservation process to book your room reservation information about The Gilmore. The idea was too fun not to go for it!

Our hope is that you will immediately recognize the intense fun that comes from being in a knitter-rich environment, and help us fill this gorgeous little hotel with the greatest people on earth: we the knitters.

A Word of Encouragement

Last year, we had attendees from 40 states, Canada, and the UK. This year, we would like to welcome some Hawaiians, Alaskans, Mexicans, and Wyomingers. More than 2,500 folks attended last year, and we think that’s a good start. If you wish you’d attended last year, guess what: we’re doing it again!

Love,

Kay and Ann

  • Awww…
Once again, I’ll be with you in spirit, but not in body. So many reasons, but 1st & foremost, the budget does not allow a trip this wonderful at this point in my life.

Add to that my proclivity for vocally supporting all things intended to reverse the current state of affairs in my home country (I’ve said many times that my Word OF The Year is & will be “Rage” & I’ve lived that well, but also as reasonably & fairly as I can with kindness & compassion for those who have been lied to & scammed) & it is likely not wise for me to be crossing the border right now, even if I did use a burner phone.

However, I’ve recently heard of a Tiny House Community/Retreat dream &… I just might be in a position soon to start working on the MDK North Satelite… (wink wink) that is, IF anybody knows anybody at MDK who might be able to encourage them to allow a North Satelite…

Best wishes to you all for a greater success!

    • Hi J Diane! Thanks so much for the good wishes–we all appreciate your kind words so much. Please stay tuned; we may have a way for folks to enjoy Nash Yarn Fest even if they can’t get to Nashville. Fingers crossed that we can get this to happen. Meanwhile, keep knitting! It’s boosting our mood so much.

  • Hi–

My friends & I would like to sign up for NYF. However, two of the ladies have ill husbands. If we sign up & have to cancel, can we get our money back or is it non-refundable? I’m referring to tickets & hotel rooms.
    Thank you.

    • Hello Mary! First of all, hoping the husbands are on the mend soon! As for reservations at The Gilmore, a reservation can be cancelled up to 72 hours the date of arrival. Tickets for Nash Yarn Fest are nonrefundable, but they are transferable if someone needs to bow out. I hope you and your friends can join us.

  • I’m so excited to register for this event but can’t find a way to buy a ticket for the Friday night Hootenanny- what am I missing?

    • I had the same problem and I emailed Ashley. You need to scroll down the tickets list (I had to rotate my iPad to portrait rather than landscape) and the Hootenanny is the very last choice. I hope this helps you

      • Thank you Janoz for the spontaneous customer service help! ; )

And apologies Suzanne for giving you trouble finding those Hootenanny tickets. We need you at this hootenanny!
