  • My favourite pattern so far would have to be Joji’s “All Together” pullover – I knit it during our lockdowns (here in Australia) and it was an apt message for the time …..

    • My favorite pattern: La Prairie! I love the texture.

    • All the Boxys!

    • Lace and Fade!

    • So many beautiful choices. The one I can imagine knitting and wearing is Terreno.

    • Love her designs! Right now my favorite is the Elton pullover

    • I love so many of her patterns, but the one I have knit most often is the Winter Traits Cowl. I love the stitch variation. Makes a great gift too!

      • Ditto to Winter Trails Cowl. I love the simple lines and versatility, the chance to work with multiple colors. If I were wanting a shawl, I’d go for the One Skein Shawl. Dainty!

    • So many beautiful patterns .. I love them all. But I love The Lounger . I would wear it all fall and winter.

      • The Night Out Cardigan!

    • Gossamer! Versatile and beautiful. Have the yarn to start one soon.

      • I love the newspaper pullover!!

      • Ohh so many, but the one that I can’t Takeshi my eres off is the newspaper pullover.

        • The 3 Color Cashmere Cowl is my fav. I love to wear it and get endless compliments. Thanks Joji or sharing your talents.

        • Always looking for shawl patterns to knit prayer shawls. Love the Odyssey shawl and Sherlyn shawl

        • I’ve been dreaming of knitting the Cozy Neighborhood Sweater. It’s beautiful and looks so warm yet stylish.

        • The Newspaper Pullover is the same for me! Mine is in progress.

  • The Odyssey shawl was my first shawl,,,Ever!, MUST try more of her patterns and going to watch her story,,,

    • Mine too Elaine! I didn’t think I was a “shawl” person but Odyssey changed my mind.
I now have many of Joji’s shawl patterns in my favorites

      • I love so many of Joji’s designs and have just cast on an Elton cardi. Our virtual knit group are holding an Elton-along with some of us knitting the cardi and others, the sweater version.

        • I love the Hipster. Made one in DK, but will make the lighter version. Just love the bohemian style…even for a 68-year old!

        • I love my Venesia shawl. One skein of lovely pink yarn with stelina

  • So many lovely designs, but I’ve been drawn to the “newspaper pullover” ever since I first saw it.

  • Circle of friends shawl must be my favourite as I am re-reading Maeve Binchy’s book of the same name. This must be my next project xx.

  • Pebble!

  • So far my favorite JOJI pattern is All of the Lights (Big Old Coat was my first and Adventuros got me through the pandemic) I found it so challanging and exciting, I worked really hard on it
I am including a picture of my worksheet I made to help me keep focused!
Tried to upload but will send in separate email.

  • Hmmm….. favorite Joji pattern. Umm, umm. The Easy One. But fingering? I dunno. I think I would try Worsted Boxy first. I have knit only one sweater, for my slender daughter, & it was too small. I lost my confidence & quit sweaters. But maybe try one more time? For myself?

    • Hmm
Still ready& looking at her published patterns

  • I love, ( especially now) “I See Spring”

  • My favorite pattern and sweater I wear the most is the Super Simple Summer Sweater

    • I think Marble Mount and I See Spring are lovely!

      • Looking forward to making Super Simple Summer Sweater and then Elton Pullover!

  • I’ve already purchased a few of my favorites, but I’d love to have “Window to My Soul!”

  • La prairie and Cuatro wrap!

  • Straw Cardigan has it all: raglan style, pattern on the raglan seam edges, understated button band, smooth and elegant flow to the entire garment. A go-to cardigan. For variety, add a few rows of surface design, stripes, or varigated yarn.

  • Current fav: Elton.

  • Licorice Vest. I’m totally into vests these days.

  • Odyssey shawl. I’ll have to try it again. First time around I made up a yatnover and the shawl was fogged because of all the random holes. Still love it though and will go back to it.

  • Once I started looking at her patterns, I thought it would be impossible to choose a favorite. Then I saw Umbrellas (https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/umbrellas). A cute stranded yoke sweater is just my cup of tea – love it!

    • All of the lights—I like all of her patterns

  • I like all the Boxy sweaters but I’m going with the A-line Serenity pullover

  • I’m knitting my first sweater using The Easy Bulky One and I love it. It’s challenging enough to help me learn new skills but not so complicated that I get frustrated and give up!

  • Her All of the Lights cardigan is beautiful! ❤️ I love how the neckline looks (it looks like it’ll hug your shoulders and not slip off); plus, there’s pockets!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Thank you for this opportunity! ☺️

  • Oh so many to choose from – Joji does an excellent job with her pattern instructions and I love knitting anything she designs – If I had to choose – one of the first patterns I knitted of hers was Spector – but right now I am working on Sammal which I am loving as well.

  • All of Joji’s pattern are a lesson in clarity and innovative construction. I love the lace socks (specially because some years ago she said she would not publish sock patterns, haha, you MUST check her other videoblog, Las Knitting Amigas), but my favourite is the Suburban Wrap, it was my first attempt at knitting lace and it gets compliments every time I use it.

  • Cabin Life cardigan just went to the top of my queue—- although I’ve been admiring the Quattro Wrap since receiving that Field Guide. Elton also made a big impression on me….Joji’s creative genius is just extraordinary!!

  • Joji’s pattern “Window to my soul” would be the pattern I would choose to knit. A difficult choice, as all her patterns are beautiful!

  • I’m just delving into her work but so far Gossamer is my favorite – it’s so versatile!

  • Her Dreaming of Paris socks are adorable!

  • I love her new Elton Pullover and would love to knit it!

  • Wow! What an array of designs. My favorite is the Button-tab hat.

  • Grace Notes pullover is on my To-do list!

  • She is such an amazing designer – all are beautiful! Striped bobble cowl.

  • I have so many of her patterns in my favourites already it’s really difficult to choose just one. I think all of the lights may be the pick for today, but ask me another day and you would probably get a different answer

  • Wow. I had no idea she had so many patterns. Amazing. Longline cardigan.

  • This is so funny because all I’ve been doing since taking Joji’s class at VKL is perusing her patterns and trying to decide what to make next. I finished Grace Notes using leek Atlas. Now I’m simultaneously working on Arco Iris and the Elton pullover. I got to try on her samples and fell in love with Newspaper. She told me I’d enjoy that after making her brioche Collective and learning brioche that way. Newspaper felt so wonderfully squishy. So that’s my answer. NEWPAPER. Although I am eyeing Understated. . .

    • Wow-I had no idea she was so prolific! If I had to choose it would be Gossamer or Boxy.

  • My favorite Joji pattern is the Tii pullover!

  • I love Joji’s designs but I made the Newspaper and love it. I think Tii is my current fave.

  • I love her Newspaper Pullover!

  • The Night Out cardigan is just what I need for spring!

  • Recoleta is one of the many I love.

  • Love her garter stitch cardigan for babies (free pattern) and her Newspaper Pullover

  • I’d love to make Dark Cloud!

  • My favorite pattern of Joji’s is Gossamer…on my “to knit” list!

  • My favorite is Gossamer.

  • Farm Twist, Heartstring, and Granito. Just for starters…

  • V-Neck Boxy and a few dozen others are favorites.

  • It has been a bit, but I was test knitting for her. I did her Super Bulky Grandfather Sweater in a few days while I was visiting my daughter in another state herding the grandson. I have received so many compliments and I needed something warmer than planned when the weather turned colder than expected. Neon is one I use at home because it is open and not too much in my warmer climate.

  • I like Newspaper pullover. It’s been in my favorites on Ravelry for a while. Looks cozy.

  • I’ve only knit one of Joji’s patterns so far — the Super Simple Summer Sweater, which is on regular rotation in my wardrobe — but I fell hard for the Cuatro Wrap from the Grace field guide.

  • Scanning through the patterns I landed on lovely Mint Leaves, a lot of work, but how beautiful and the Bobble Cowl for simplicity.

  • My next project will be grace notes.

  • I like the Spector sweater.

    • I like the odyssey shawl also.

      • Camillia, simple but sophisticated.

  • The Grace Notes pullover is just so elegant!

  • Oh my, my favorite Joji pattern. I just have too many. I love the fit of marble mount.

  • It’s almost impossible to pick just one. I think the Looking Back cardigan is speaking to me though.

  • I have knit many of her patterns and have so many favorites but the one I wear most often is The Super Simple Summer Sweater.

  • I just finished the Tii Pullover and love it. The construction is always interesting. I have knit so many of her patterns and love the fit and design as well as the modern look of her knits. Fan Forever!!

  • Joji’s Lace & Fade. I am scared to try it, but think I must!!!

  • Granito. Subtle details, beautiful fit, and pockets!

  • I have my eye on Lace and Fade Boxy.

  • At first glance, Newspaper looks like the combination of fun to make and I would actually wear it! But…if I win, I’d have to look again…and might find something else that fits that category!

  • I love all of Joji’s designs are great and it’s so hard to choose! All of the Lights has me with the construction & details.

  • My favorite Joji pattern right now is the Virginia Top!
    https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/virginia-top-2

    • Her Frank shawl is wonderful.

  • Lone Skein Shawl – like who doesn’t have that lone skein?!

    • Currently finishing up her Pure Joy shawl. Love Newspaper but have to go with Super Simple Summer Sweater!

  • Wonderful story. My first was 3 color cashmere cowl. A wonderful drink after a dry spell.

  • Soooo many terrific designs, the Collective Shawl and the Hipster are two of my favorites.

  • The Arco Iris looks lovely

  • What an impossible question. Scrolling through, Wool & Berries, Earnest Sweater, and Mint Leaves all caught my eye but I have made both the Sterlyn Shawl and the 3 Color Cashmere Cowl (make this one in cashmere or a cashmere blend – totally worth it since you will wear it 12,000 times) and wear them often.

  • I love dragonflies pullover. So hard to choose one though. 🙂

  • All The Love! While it was hard to pick, because I’ve done 8 of her designs and I keep coming back (Dark Cloud and Big Old Coat are also favorites!) I knitted All the Love in ballet pink in Sueno for my daughter and she wore it for her in-the-park COVID-19 wedding. She’s so clear in her patterns and I feel like I’m talking to a friend.

    • I love both the Joji sweaters that I have already knit – Longline Cardigan and Marble Mount. Next up – Newspaper.

  • What a decision! For something different, Opposite Pole would be my choice.

  • She’s one of my favorite designers and I can’t pick out a “favorite”. However, this morning, I’m really loving the pattern “Big, old coat”.

  • The one that captured my imagination most was The Hipster. It is so evocative. I bought it recently after deciding that yes I had the necessary skills. I will knit it one day in deep red over all black and think of myself as a beatnik Audrey Hepburn (in my own demented mind). Before Joji became J O J I, I knit her free baby pattern Felipe. I loved every minute of it and it was very well received. So I knit another one! This video has me trolling for several that I missed/overlooked during my last visit to her site. Thank you so much!

  • I love and have made many of Joji’s designs. Her Three Stripe Cowl is a favorite of mine using up my remnant sock and fingering yarn. The next big project on my mind is her Citadel cardigan. The shape and stitches are beautiful.

  • I have three of her patterns in my rav queue right now, and I’d love to cast on Understated first. Then Granito, then Simple summer sweater.

  • I’m waiting on my yarn to start La Prairie, which will be the first of Joji’s patterns I knit. I follow her on Instagram and have enjoyed browsing her patterns ever since I saw her on Fruity Knitting. This pattern just took my breath away. It’s the first one that’s inspired me to jump in and knit myself a garment this century! Back in my 20’s I knit myself heaps, blindly following the pattern and ending up with things that never really fitted my non standard body. When I finally came back to knitting I found an online knitting community and have gradually learned so much more than I ever knew I didn’t know, but getting the confidence to invest in a sweater’s quantity of yarn and put it all into practice has been much slower. Apart from being drop dead gorgeous, this has to be my favourite pattern of hers for giving me that push I needed. Fingers crossed I can do it justice…

  • My favorite is in this time Sparkle Cardigan .

  • So many fabulous patterns. My current wish list includes the Odyssey shawl pattern. I like the idea of knitting it in colors of a favorite landscape. I love the beach so I could see it in colors of sand, water and sky.

  • Would love to knit Newspaper sweater

  • The Newspaper pullover will be my reason to learn brioche!

  • I made Joji’s Suburban Wrap and love wearing it,

  • Suburban Wrap – made it several years ago and love wearing it.

  • Pure Joy by Joji is, well, pure joy.

  • So hard to choose– I have pebble tunic, boston streets, jodi, jujuy, BA cowl, and Ley lines in my Ravelry favorite files.

  • Personally, I’m obsessing over the Arbor Vitae pullover. What a fabulous and unexpected pattern!

  • Love love love her Farm Twist Jacket, although the Aimèe sweater is a super close second and not just because my name is Amèe!

  • I love the Elton. I can imagine it being a go-to piece in my wardrobe.

  • How can you pick one? I See Spring was a great sweater to knit and I receive compliments on it all the time.

  • Adventurous has been on my wish list for ages. Love those cables in a big snuggly coat/cardigan. I’d add some pockets, though.

  • My favorite Joji pattern is The “Grace Note Pullover”. Beautiful lines & a twisted stitch that just pops on a sweater that could look good on anyone. Most of all, it would be so rewarding to knit.

  • Love, love Gossamer!!

  • Let Go, I’m wearing it right now, made with Neighborhood Fiber Company yarn. A perfect match of fiber and pattern and one of my go-to sweaters. Longline, made with a Yarn Snob Powerball, is second favorite. And high in my queue is some NFC for an Ecuador.

  • Grace notes pullover!

  • Cedar Pullover – I’ve already knit the Elton and the Granito, but I’d knit those again!

  • Definitely the Aimee Cardigan…

  • Cabin Life Cardigan OR Zeeweg Wrap OR Frank Shawl BUT Grace Notes is an elegant sweater.

  • The newspaper pullover looks amazing, but a bit advanced for me so I’ve just bought the yarn for the Elton sweater, looks like a super summer sweater for the very
    inclement scottish weather!

  • Still need to purchase yarn for Adventurous in Interpretations volume 2

  • I love both the Elton cardigan and Elton pullover

  • I love the Night Out Cardigan

  • WOW! Thank you for introducing me to Joji! I love all her patterns. Today my favorite is Tii sweater. Could change tomorrow! I will own one soon but it would be nice to have it for free. Thank you.

  • I love the Ranch Coat. It would be perfect for spring and fall weather in my area.

  • My current favorite Joji pattern is the Elton pullover. So many beautiful designs!

  • I love them all, but my favorite is grace notes pullover

  • Newspaper
