Lopi Knitalong Winners’ Circle
Dear everybody,
We can hardly believe it, but we’re nearing the end of the official program for our knitalong of Mary Jane Mucklestone’s joyful colorwork designs for MDK Field Guide No. 17: Lopi. You’ve outdone yourselves, finishing projects with blazing speed, making use of every one of the 38 colors of Léttlopi. It’s been a blast to follow along, and knit along, with all of you.
Let’s take a look at the projects that were selected as prize winners. As ever, we followed our lodestar, choosing projects and stories that made us smile. As ever, it was very hard to choose, because there was so much knitterly joy everywhere we looked.
The Winners’ Circle welcomes …
Natascha in the Lounge, whose Daytripper Cardigan palette was inspired by the local fauna.
KCKnits in the Lounge, who made teeny tiny Trinket Mittens for twins!
SuzieR in the Lounge, and who also twinned, matching her Daytripper Cardigan and Jaunty Beanie.
Suzie on Instagram nailed the fit of her Destination Pullover, with its perfect pockets.

Kate on Instagram modeled her Destination Pullover as she worked on her Daytripper Cardigan.
Teri on Instagram modified the Daytripper Cardigan into a dreamy green pullover for her happy husband.

Wow! Thank you! I’m thrilled to be in such beautiful company. I had a great time knitting this sweater with the live feed of the Iceland volcano running in the background. (Just a bit addicted to developments there.)

Funny that this post came today, when I’m finally able to cast on my destination pullover. It is a perpetual knit along, right?!
