  • Congratulations on your new website, lots of fun to be had peeking into all the new rooms!
Love the new MDK yarny logo.
Now I’m off to checkout those mini skeins……..

    • Have had fun ‘window shopping’, used the favouriting option, and I will now wait patiently for 2017 when MDK expand to take over the world! (Even your fine print is informative!)

  • Congratulations!! Sending good wishes from Tokyo

  • Great job, y’all! May you continue to go from strength to strength.

  • Great fun to look back at older posts. So many knitterly shenanigans!
    Thanks for the new website!

  • Hurray! It looks just right!!

  • This is so exciting! I knew you would come up with some good stuff but this is even better than I imagined. Happily wandering around to see everything, but is there a plate of cookies here?? Usually grand openings have a little something to eat….

  • Page is slow to load but worth the wait. Congratulations!

  • What, no pile of hand-knit slippers by the door? Looks great!! Congratulations.

  • wowee zowee – fantastico

  • Going to leave a 2nd comment and hope that this one takes. The site looks beautiful, and I love all the different areas to explore. Huge congrats to you both! Looking forward to more!

  • Look out for lots of fun ahead!!

  • Brava! Brava! Saw the site for a fast minute late last night, then it disappeared and posted only from last week…but now, it is back, big and beautiful. Nice work, ladies!
Also thrilled to see the Monteagle Bag getting some love, looking fresh s in the mini skeins. Happy my photo of the original bag made a cameo appearance on your new site’s debut day. A small brush with greatness 😉

  • Just like visiting a favorite, best LYS. Since my nearest is 50 miles away (I know!), I especially love being here. It’s beautiful…well done1

  • Love it!!! Congratulations!

  • Looks good!

  • My mug has already arrived. I can see that the shape, weight, color, and type design were all carefully considered. I love it. I also love the Every Little Detail approach, right down to the chuckle-worthy tape around the box neatly packed with color-coordinated tissue paper. What do you call that color, anyway? Please don’t say orange.

    • Oh hooray, Ruth Ann! So happy you received your mug. Thank you for being one of our very first customers.
As for the color, it’s VERMILION. Here’s some vermilion history: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vermilion. Go vermilion!

      • You are so welcome. And, re: vermilion, whew. I do love the mug, but orange might have lessened morning beverage joy. Onward vermilion.

  • Also, how about a travel mug??? I’m craving it.

  • Yes, it works, and what fun!

  • Congratulations!!!

  • Congrats! This is really exciting. I’ll have to do a lot of exploring to figure out this new format.

  • Looks great on the little phone screen but I can’t wait to scout around on the big screen!

  • So does this mean you will not be in my mail box in the morning?

  • <3 <3 <3 <3

  • Love your new house. It’s so fancy!! Congratulations.

  • Wow, this is fancy–amazing! Congratulations on this accomplishment!

  • This all looks amazing, congratulations on your hard work and having the imagination to pursue it. It will take me a while to look at everything!

  • I love what you’ve done with the place 🙂

  • Beautiful site! Congrats, ladies!

  • WOWWWWW, so nice. Congratulations!

  • Love the new concept. Will take some getting used to. Right off the bat I have a question. You say we should send our questions to “Ask Clara” – but HOW? I have a question that needs to be answered before I will plunk down for those Euroflax mini skeins that are calling to me. It involves the same question I’ve asked before (elsewhere) and everyone skates around the answer. Just how do you join linen. You must know since those marketbags are in several colors. I suppose for those you can get away with a knot, but what do you do on a towel or garment? If I can ever get an acceptable answer I will finally be able to knit with the linen I’ve accumulated and the new I want! Congrats on the new site. I’m off to visit the shop next!

  • So VERY cool! Let me know if you’d like to try out some LGF Suris yarn!

  • Look great! So happy you ladies are bringing more knitting wonderfulness into my world. Congrats and thanks!

  • Just starting to browse. I like it.

  • Neato mosquito!

  • The new blog looks great! My only question is, is there a date/time anywhere on the posts?

  • Whoa! I was worried about you two when a few days went by with no posts ( was Ann in synagogue too??).
But you’ve moved! This is all a lot to absorb – especially for someone who built virtually the same house twice- ( the movers knew where to put everything;)).
Best of luck in your new home! I look forward to visiting often, and learning the ins and outs of it all. It certainly looks beautiful! Sending you a virtual and a plate of .

    • Oh no! My emoji cake and cookies disappeared. Ah well, no calories!

  • Found you and you’re looking loverly

  • Love it. Congrats, ladies
Tried to post here yesterday, but the post disappeared.

  • How fabulous! Loving the look!

  • Aaah, it’s working again! The new design looks great! Now, I just have to find the cats’ comfy spot, er, yarn testing lab!

  • Love your new home. You are both so hospitable I’m looking forward to visiting often!

  • Moving is hard. Hope y’all are having cheap Chinese on the good china. xoxT

  • Congrats on your new home – don’t forget to line the drawers and shelves right away. You’ll never do it later…. 😉

  • Great idea! Looks fantastic

  • Just received my Euroflax mini-skein set. So quick and beautifully wrapped! Earth color range – gorgeous! Was thinking a couple of Monteagles, but maybe the small version of Mindy Ross’ Dangling Conversation shawl?

  • congrats! i have no clue as to what a skein is, but i love you and am so happy for you!

  • I absolutely love it! And I can’t tell you how delighted I was this morning to discover all the new posts showing up in my Bloglovin feed. I had a moment when I was lying awake last night where I worried that you weren’t going to show up. But there you are this morning. 🙂 Congratulations ladies! It’s wonderful. xx

  • Congratulations Ann and Kay!! I’m still not takin up knittin but I sure love reading about it. I tell everyone I see with exposed needles to look you up!!! Xo. Bets

  • This is the Disney World for knitters!

  • Terrific. Lots of ideas. Congratulations to both. Dad

  • love this, congrats

  • Gosh, I want to BUY ALL THE THINGS! Thank goodness I packed my slippers to wear after I left my shoes in the foyer. Congratulations on the new site!

  • Lovely to find a home where I can relax and be myself. Thanks for opening the door. Love what you’ve done with the place!

  • Ann and Kay, this looks terrific! Congrats on the new place! If I may make a small suggestion: I would keep the original publication dates on all the articles that now turn up in the various categories. As a longtime reader, I find it disorienting to read a post about how to seam a sweater sleeve, for instance, without any sense of when you blogged about said sweater. This is even more useful in the where-to-find and travelogue pieces, of course. Otherwise fabuloso!

  • I really like it. Very exciting….!

  • This looks lovely! Can’t wait to figure out where things are lol!

  • So excited for you. Happy to follow along day by day!

  • Sounds like fun

  • The best news I have had in weeks! There was a time when I was a knitter, eons ago. How I have wished for some knitting in my hands while debates go on and on! You may just give me the push I need.

  • Nice and tidy. And organized like a library – the cookbooks, the travelogues, the arts and craft corner, the self-help section, and the coffee table books. All this with two knowledgeable research librarians and their keen assistants to curate the collection and keep it up-to-date. .
