We’re very picky about tools. A tool has to earn its place alongside our stitch markers and swan scissors.
Simple is best, and multi-purpose is even better. When we saw the Loome Tool in action, it became our tool of choice for making pom poms and tassels, and also for whipping up a braided cord or friendship bracelet if the mood should strike. (It’s nice to know we’re ready for that situation.)
We offer two versions of the Loome Tool: the compact Robot Model, and the Slingshot XL, for larger pom poms, and the handy grip that helped David take care of Goliath.
And new in the Shop are two tiny tools that make your pom pom and tassel efforts all the more tidy: a Pom Pom Trim Guide and a Tassel Comb.
(The Pom Pom Trim Guide also can be used to make a 7-strand Japanese Kumihimo cord, which is a mighty fine cord.)
