Your brioche adventure starts here!

This is the cowl that teaches the basics of two-color brioche in the most delightfully intuitive way.

After simple set-up rounds, you’ll alternate rounds of brioche knit and brioche purl, combining these simple stitches with slipped stitches and yarnovers in a rhythm that quickly becomes muscle memory. It’s so fun!

And the reward is the snappiest neckwarmer around. Beware of friends and family trying to take it off your neck (and add them to your holiday gift list).

Notes
If you prefer, you may substitute any of the stitch patterns from the Dotty Wrist Warmers pattern (see pages 28–31) for the Brioche Stitch. If you wish to adjust the circumference of the cowl, add or subtract sts in a multiple of 2 (or a multiple of 8 if you substitute one of the wrist warmers patterns). Note that if you increase the circumference or length, you may require additional yarn.
