  • Hi girls. Chris and I just donated to the fund for Kathreen’s kids and I would rather cover the cost of whatever pattern thing you’re doing as well. How to I to that?

  • I’m with Martha. Donate my pattern cost too, I’ll buy my own. Olive and the squirrel–the circle of life.

  • Thanks Ladies for doing this, trying to make sense of the incomprehensible but this is a step in a positive direction.
(my Kathreen blog post is here: http://savoryknitting.com/?p=1207 )

  • I’m so glad you’re doing this- Kathreen touch so many lives and it’s great that you are collecting all these stories and tributes.
    My post is here-
    Thanks you two.

  • Here is my link, I wish I had read your post first, you said it so much better!

  • I’ve just donated to the fund, but don’t want anything in return. I’m new to this “internet crafting world” but very moved by this tragic event.

  • Added my 2¢ over on my blog today
although really, there are no words. I am glad you shared all those instagram photos-they say a lot more than a couple of random headshots in the newspaper accounts.

  • Here is my tribute to Kathleen, encouraging folks to check out Action Pack, her series of craft magazines for kids. Thanks for organizing this. I’ve always admired Kathleen’s work and appreciate the opportunity to celebrate it.

  • Hi!
Thank you so much for including my link, but it looks like you added a quotation mark to the end of the link and so it’s sending everyone to a 404 page. I’m going to try to fix it on my end, but if you could fix it on your end too that would be great. I would love people to check out Kathleen’s Action Packs!

  • Thanks for this. I did donate (after finally getting Paypal to stop asking me for a county in the UK) but I don’t need a pattern.

  • Hi
Thanks so much for doing this. I just posted here: http://piecedgoods.wordpress.com/2013/05/27/awake/
I didn’t know how to make the donate button work on my page but am sending readers to yours!
    Much gratitude!

  • Not sure if i’m too late but here is my post –
    thank you for doing this.

  • You’ve come up with a way for us to remember Kathreen that felt just right to me. My post is here: http://whileshenaps.typepad.com/whileshenaps/2013/05/a-tribute-to-kathreen-ricketson.html
    Thank you.

  • Thank you. My words still don’t feel right, but they’ll have to do.

  • Someday, the children will get to read the wonderful tributes about their mother from so many blogs, and know a little bit more about her.

  • If it wasn’t for Kathreen and her whiplash challenge back in ’06, I would never have started blogging. I didn’t write much, but I couldn’t let her passing go unmentioned… http://tamdoll.com/sad-news/.

  • I’m a little late to the wake, but have just posted a little bit about Kathreen here, with much gratitude for what she contributed to the craft community while she was here, contributions that still bring inspiration to my family’s creative life, despite her passing: http://www.clementineshoes.blogspot.com.au/2013/06/week-23-part-2-aka-legacy.html

  • Where have you gone Joe DiMaggio?
