Dear Ann,
The moral of this story is: always listen to Max Daniels. She knows what’s what. Max has mentioned the podcast Call Your Girlfriend several times over the last year. Not being that pod-curious of a person, I never checked it out until I was casting about for a Knit to This for this week. I listened to Call Your Girlfriend. I listened, and I liked. How could I not like a podcast featuring the rambling conversations of two long-distance besties?
Ann Friedman and Aminatou Sow talk about pretty much anything they’re interested in. They’re easy to listen to, and easy to learn from. My entry episode was this one: The Tip of the Creep Iceberg.

I have subscribed to this podcast for a year now, love it for what’s happening in the States. Australia has “Straight and Curly” , a podcast between two friends covering issues about life as women.
